Yes! The White Pine Rod & Gun Club was incorporated in Nevada on August 12, 1913. The president was J. S. Bennett and the secretary was L. H. Murdock (same names as on the card.) Their mission:
1. Preserve the game of the county
2. See that game laws are enforced.
The club pops up in a couple of 1914 magazines for shoots that were held. (Notice Murdock and Bennett were not the best shooters as evidenced by this 1914 record in “Forest & Stream.”) This card was issued to Claud Smith before 1915 as that is when the card expires. As a matter of fact I can find no further mention of the club after this year.!
